National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), Bhubaneswar and University of Mumbai – Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences (UM-DAE CBS), Mumbai, have jointly announced the schedule of National Entrance Screening Test – 2012 (NEST-2012) for the Academic Session 2012-13. NEST – 2012 will be conducted on May 29, 2012 (Sunday) from 2 PM to 5 PM

* Online submission of application starts : January 05, 2012
* Last date for receiving request of application form (postal) : February 13, 2012
* Last date for receipt of completed application form with DD (online/postal) : March 13, 2012 (till 5:00pm)
* Online applications freezes : March 13, 2012 (midnight)
* Dispatch of offline admit cards starts : April 15, 2012
* Download of online admit cards starts : April 15, 2012
* Date of examination : May 27, 2012 (Sunday), 2:00 – 5:00 pm
* Announcement of results on NEST website : June 18, 2012
